Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Good Morning Residents,

We hope this WMNow weekly round-up message finds you well.

Officers are continuing to target criminals, illegal drivers, those involved in violence and anti-social behaviour in Dudley Town Centre and within our local neighbourhoods.

A Drone Operation was carried out Thursday on Dudley Town Centre to identify any anti-social behaviour and our officers will be carrying out further Drone Operations with the local council to identify anyone committing offences and anti-social behaviour in the town centre and surrounding open spaces and once identified will be swiftly dealt with accordingly. 

What’s been happening:-

•      Local Neighbourhood Area

Our Dudley PCSO’s have carried out several knife sweeps of local parks and green spaces with our Metal Detector Operator to identify any weapons – at this point in time no weapons have been located but we will continue to carry out these operations to keep the community safe. 

Our Guardian Task Force have been deployed in the town centre, whereby they have taken action against Serious Youth Violence by searching and arresting someone carrying an offensive weapon in a public place.

•      Off Road Bikes

We are continuing our work to tackle problems regarding off road bikes around the Dudley borough.  Several bike operations are planned for the future with the Force Traffic team.  Any information regarding off road bikes please let us know, as we continue to patrol the areas of concern.
